You're invited to join the Oklahoma Romance Writers Guild on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 from 2-3pm for our Heartbeats of Romance: Act 1 Workshop in SW OKC. Please visit the OKRWG website for location details. This workshop is free and open to the public.

You don't have to be a romance genre writer to find this workshop useful. Most stories have some type of romantic subplot and knowing the correct romantic beats can make the subplot and your story that much more powerful. So join us as OKRWG President, Sabrina Fish, uses Gwen Hayes Romancing the Beat: Story Structure for Romance Novels to help us set up Act 1 of a romance story arc. Note: We'll cover Acts 2 & 3 in later workshops.

After the workshop, from 3-4pm, we'll have our critique group. You're welcome to participate, but please be sure to follow the instructions listed on our website.
